Duo Arcade — Privacy Policy

Duo Arcade ("the app") is a free two-player mini-game collection published by Aca Gaming ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the app handles, why, and what choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of our own. We do not collect or store your personal information.

Game scores and settings live only on your device, in memory, and are gone when you close the app.

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob collects a device advertising identifier and technical data in order to serve and measure those ads.

The app is intended for users aged 13 and over.

Information we collect ourselves

None. Duo Arcade is played entirely on one device and does not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, microphone or location. It has no login and sends nothing to any server operated by us.

Information collected by advertising

The app displays occasional full-screen (interstitial) ads between matches using Google AdMob. To deliver and measure those ads, Google may collect and process:

your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID);

IP address and approximate, coarse location derived from it;

device and app information such as device model, operating system version, language, app version;

ad interaction data, for example whether an ad was shown, viewed or clicked.

This data is sent from your device directly to Google. It is transmitted over encrypted connections. We receive only aggregated, non-identifying performance reports (impressions, clicks, revenue) — never data that identifies you personally.

Consent in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

If you are located in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent management platform before personalised ads are served, as required by the EU User Consent Policy and the GDPR. You can decline personalised advertising and still play the game in full; you will simply see non-personalised ads instead.

Your choices

Reset your advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by manufacturer). Resetting breaks the link between past and future ad data.

Opt out of personalised ads: in the same Android settings screen, turn on "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalisation". Ads will still appear, but they will not be personalised.

Withdraw consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland): reinstall the app to be asked again, or manage your choices through Google's settings.

Data retention and deletion

We hold no user data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Data collected by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own retention policies. To have that data disassociated from your device, reset or delete your advertising ID as described above. Uninstalling the app stops all further collection.

Children's privacy

Duo Arcade is not directed at children under 13 and is declared on Google Play as intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at the address below and we will take appropriate action.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under 16 years of age.

Security

Data transmitted for advertising purposes is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other sites

Ads shown in the app may link to third-party websites or app store listings. Those destinations are not operated by us and are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
